DESCRIPTION:Host: Jean RookTime: Aug. 11\, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.Address: 56 Northshore Drive\, Burlington\, in the Village of Northshore Condominiums\, about 5 miles north of Battery Park. It overlooks the Burlington Bike Path & Lake Champlain. \n\n\n\nRSVP to Jean before Tuesday:Jean’s cell: 802-734-1044 Jean’s email: jeanrook@gmail.com \n\n\n\nIN CASE OF RAIN: Come have coffee and socialize from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Bring your own lunch. \n\n\n\nWalking/biking: Meet at 10 a.m. and self-organize for shorter or longer bike rides & walks. For example\, go north to either Airport Park or out to the end of the Causeway\, or walk the trails at Rock Point. Some cyclists might want to park at Leddy and ride the bike path to Jean’s condo. She will put bright ribbons on the stairway from the bike path up to her deck. The deck has a pig weathervane on it.Swimming: Bring a swim suit\, water toy & towel for shallow-water\, sandy-bottom wading at the city beach below. \n\n\n\nLunch: Bring your own lunch and plan to eat on the deck about 12:15 p.m. Jean will provide lemonade and chocolate! \n\n\n\nDirections & Parking: North Ave. to left on Westward Dr. Turn right at mailbox shed onto Northshore Dr.  Park where signs indicate guest parking. First left goes directly to Jean’s front door. You also can park at Leddy Park. Parking is on Northshore Drive\, not in front of Jean’s condo or even on the driveway. DO NOT PARK along the driveway leading to # 56.
