Our Mission: The women of UVM shall promote the wellbeing and happiness of members, their physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual health, through activities requiring shared responsibility and cooperation.

This organization has roots going back to 1909 and offers members more than 65 interest groups, including six levels of hiking most Tuesdays, writing and research groups, bowling, Montreal Adventurers, golf, ukulele, pickleball, etc. Many of our groups are full, but you can always start a new one. The Interest Group Chair, who serves on the Board, helps members get new groups up and running. As we continue to grow, the need for new groups grows, too.

Once you’ve paid your $25 dues online and created a username and password, you’ll be able to log into our webite and learn much more. Under About Us, you will find contact information for the 10 Board members. Feel free to contact them if you have questions. Again, welcome!

Do NOT get nervous if you receive only a confirmation and NOT the followup email.  Do not pay twice.  When trying to find us on the web, keep in mind that we are a private, secure website.  We do NOT show up in internet searches.  So you must enter our web address in the address bar, not the search window.

 

After completing the registration below, please follow these steps:

  1. Create, write down and save your username and password. You will need them to sign into our website to activate your membership.
  2. Please check your email for a welcome message. It may not come right away if there is website traffic. Be Patient.
  3. Final step: type www.womenofuvm.com into the address bar of your browser, enter your user and password, and click the box to accept the liability waiver and the ‘Remember Me’ box. Then, click on the blue ‘Log In’ button.  
  4. Once on the site, click on the ‘Update Your Information’ link at the top of the page and provide all the personal information you wish to make available to other WUVM members for connecting with one another. The Member Lookup tool is used for this. It’s also important for us to know your connection to UVM, if you have an affiliation. If there is a group listed that you know you want to join, check the box. Then scroll to the bottom and hit SUBMIT.
